"Under the Night Sky" - July Mystery Monday

One of my most incredible memories is spending a week hiking and camping on the West Coast Trail. An epic, 75+km trek along the rugged coast of Vancouver Island where you see only a handful of people the entire time you are on it. Being on the open ocean, it’s more common that the night sky gets taken over by fog and mist as you tuck into your tent for the night, but I can remember one night, after staying up late by the fire, sharing stories and roasting marshmallows that had been squished beyond recognition into our packs, looking up and being able to see the stars. This photo, even though it’s not from my trip, takes me right back to the incredible trip. The night sky is magical to me so what better way to celebrate my love for it by putting it onto yarn?!
